"So... that's your plan?" Still inside the dirty basement were the two whispering kids as Edward folded his arms and looked at her curiously. (Y/N) gave him a small smirk as she looked back around to see if anyone was eavesdropping. Affirming that no one was catching even a whiff of what they were saying (Y/N) turned back around towards Edward, her face now losing its relaxation and into one of seriousness.

"Yes, although it's not exactly the best plan out there, it's the only plan that can guarantee everyone else's safety." (Y/N) explained to the skeptical male. Edward nodded hesitantly, though before (Y/N) could go and talk more he interrupted her by grabbing onto her (F/C) sleeve.

Looking at her straight in the eyes worry was clear inside his golden, snake-like irises. "If this plan doesn't work out, then what? I leave you out there to die?" Edward questioned her. (Y/N) simply gave him a bright smile and gently took off his hand and squeezed it.

"It's worth a shot. By doing it we have a chance, but by not doing it we have no chance. Now, come on, we have a plan to commence." (Y/N) whispered, her voice as low as possible with her childish tone. 

Getting up, (Y/N) scanned the surroundings. Once confirming that the coast was clear (Y/N) turned towards Edward and gave him a firm nod. Edward nodded as well as he cautiously got up and walked near the door and placed himself against the wall on its left side. 

Finally deciding to do her part (Y/N) inhaled and exhaled, sharpening her eyes in the process. Summoning her molecule manipulation magic (Y/N) focused on the door as she made a size big enough for Edward to pass through. Luckily, the guards heard the sound and immediately ran down the stairs leaving the front door open.

Nodding towards Edward, he nodded back and looked back at the opening as he slipped through with his darkness manipulation magic and blended in with the shadows. As the guards ran towards them Edward was able to slip away and onto the exit. Now, it's all up to him.

Putting on her most villainous expression possible (Y/N) then activated her water manipulation as she quickly put back the door the way it was. Soon, the soldiers burst in and looked around. One of the soldiers noticed the girl using her magic and immediately pointed his magic-dulling spear at her and gave (Y/N) a glare.

"Deactivate your magic, you wench!" The soldier demanded as he and the others drew closer towards her. (Y/N) laughed as she shot five water spears at them as she put enough pressure on it to be able to deal some damage to the soldiers.

"Do you actually think that I would listen to peasants like you? Please, a dog is more threatening!" (Y/N) laughed again as she now focused her complete attention towards the soldiers. 

The soldiers snarled as they drew closer. (Y/N) gulped but still put on her confident expression and smirked. "Now let's see... some measly magic-dulling spears vs my water magic. I suppose this match has already been decided, put down your weapons and run while I give you mercy." (Y/N) growled as she could feel her energy starting to deteriorate, though made sure that none of them found out.

The kids behind her began to shiver in fear as they all huddled into groups thinking of the future death of the new hostage. Hearing this (Y/N) frowned as she made herself her own spears and pointed them towards the soldiers.

Don't get her wrong, (Y/N) was scared. She never experienced something like this before, but her being the oldest mentally she felt responsible for them. She knew her father would be coming here soon, shadows travel fast after all. So for now she had to swallow down her fear and face them head-on.

"Then I suppose you won't mind if we hurt some kids, right?" The soldier in front snickered as two guards grabbed and dragged five dirty-looking kids with them. Seeing this (Y/N) immediately stiffened as she snarled at the heartless soldiers.

"You do know that what you're doing right now is illegal, right?" (Y/N) questioned them making them let out loud laughs while the kids cowered in fear. (Y/N) knew that what she had just asked was stupid, but right now she wasn't the smartest and was running out of ideas on how to get them side-tracked.

The front guard lifted his right hand immediately silencing the rest as he glared daggers at the young girl. "Do you also know that what you're doing right now is stupid, right?" The soldier morphed her question as they others snickered. 

Looking at every single guard that there was only one caught her eye. A man in his early twenties with fire red hair and golden eyes stared at her and the other kids with pity in his eyes. Only laughed a few times, she concluded. 

"Um, boss? Dont you think we should just knock her out instead of trying to fight her?" The fire-haired male asked his superior as he scoffed at his soldiers idea. "Do you actually think we have time to be all buddy-buddy with a bratty little kid?" The boss glared at his inferior causing him to sigh and go back to where he was.

(Y/N) again readed her multiple spears as they prepared for the fight. Putting a water shield around the kids she narrowed her eyes as the waited for her opponents to stick first, and they did. 

The soldier on their bosses left launched at her as he prepared to use his earth magic, though (Y/N) quickly used her power obsorbtion magic and took his magic away from him for good. The soldier immediately fell to the ground as he clutched hs head in pain. The other soldiers saw this and deiced to defend the honor of their fallen comrade.

Soon, all the soldiers attacked her at once. About 30 were defeated quickly as she sapped away their magic properties to herself and saw them all clutching their heads and hearts due to the immense pain that taking away someones magic was.

Suddenly the door burst open a next time as soldiers wearing red appeared, and to (Y/N) relief she saw her father in front of them with furry in his eyes. The soldiers immediately stopped as they saw the collapsed soldiers, their eyes widening in disbelief. 

Luke looked back up at his daughter and gave her a proud smile. "Thats my diamond." Luke whispered as he immediately ran towards (Y/N) and ingulfed her in a tight yet warm hug. "Oh, my little diamond! I was so worried when the priest informed me of your absence that I was ready to send out my army! Are you hurt? If you are, I will immediately take care of whose responabel-!" Feeling tiny arms snake around his chest as best as possible Luke looked down and sent her a soft smile.

"Im fine, pappa, I'm fine." (Y/N) reassured her father as she felt herself being brought away from the ground and now fully relaying on her father. Luke smiled at her warmly and began to pamper her with kisses causing her to let out small giggles her and there. 

The soldiers behind them sweatdropped at the action yet smiled. What a warm family.

Though, behind all the soldiers was the same snake-eyes kid, his eyes cold yet hateful as he stared at the male hugging his little warrior.
